For the past 30 years Parallel Products has pioneered the development of innovative technologies for the recycling of the beverage industry’s wastes and residuals. We keep unwanted beverage products out of the landfills and create alternative fuel sources for the nation.
Each year, Parallel Products receives and recycles over 13 million cases and 3 million bulk liquid gallons of unsaleable beverage products. These activities generate large volumes of recyclable materials which include over:
- 4 million pounds of aluminum
- 4 million pounds of plastics
- 70 million pounds of glass
- 7 million pounds of other packaging materials such as OCC, PE etc…
Resources Maximized!
Parallel Products maximizes all resources available from the waste products we receive. This is done by converting both the sugar-based and alcohol-based liquids to ethyl alcohol or “ethanol”. Because of this, we recycle/reclaim in excess of 95% of the total beverage product as opposed to recycling only the 10% that is constituted by the packaging materials.
Our ethanol reclamation activities in Louisville, KY and Ontario, CA produce over 5.5 million gallons of waste-derived ethanol each year. This ethanol is used to replace products derived from non-renewable sources such as fossil fuels.

Our facility status as Distilled Spirits Plants (DSP) and Bonded Wine Cellars (BWC) also allows the convenience and cost savings of “IN BOND” shipments where possible.
