Parallel Products has developed a cost effective on-site system for the
isolation, collection, and concentration of high strength waste
directly from processing operations.
Parallel Products' isolation, collection, and concentration (ICC) installations
have demonstrated 80% reductions in B.O.D. - greatly reducing operating and
capital costs as compared to conventional aerobic or anaerobic treatment systems.
How it works
Waste streams from bottling operations are collected from sumps installed at
strategic points in the processing facility. Continuous brix monitoring directs
materials 'two brix and higher' to special collection tanks for further processing;
waste below the two brix level are discharged to the sewer.
Collected material is then further concentrated via the installed Parallel
Products' system, from two to twenty brix, through a multiple-stage reverse
osmosis process. Concentrates are removed by Parallel Products for the production
of ethanol at one of our regional processing plants. (See Our
Ethanol Story)

Cost reduction and environmental compliance are the compelling factors when
considering the on-site installation of our ICC systems. Evaluation and characterization
of waste streams within your processing plant are the first step in determining
feasibility for your operations. Our experienced staff will gladly work with
you to determine which resource recovery method - on-site or off-site - best
meets your company's needs.
